What seed are you planting for future generations?

I believe each of us is planting a seed for future generations.

Your seed, in combination with the seeds each of us plant, is what future generations will understand about us as individuals and collectively as humans. Together, all of our seeds will contribute to the world future generations will experience.

The question we each need to ask ourselves is, "will the seed I plant become a noxious invasive weed that is physically harmful or destructive to living beings or a healthy supportive tree that provides nutrients to the ground enabling healthy growth and sustainability to all living beings?"

The choice is yours.

You get to decide the seed you plant.

The unique seed you are planting is based on and fed by every thought you have, every action/inaction you take. From the words you say, to the way you live your life.

As you reflect on your thoughts, your actions/inactions, are you planting a noxious weed seed or a supportive tree? Will your seed be based on division or unity; on leaving the world better or worse off? Will your seed promote health growth, sustainability?

What will the seed of your legacy be?

Only you can answer that question.

When I get discouraged at what I am seeing going on in the world (both the larger world and my smaller world), I know all is not lost as there are many who are planting healthy nurturing seeds for tomorrow. I double down on continuing to plant and nurture my unique seed based on unity and love by helping as many people as I can (through my actions and words) that we are all ultimately one; that love is what we are. It is my hope that my seed helps to create that future both today and when I am gone.

How about you?

What is your seed based on? What will the seed of your legacy be?

I'd love to know your thoughts. Feel free to reach out to me here.
