Success is not something that is external to you.
When people think of success, they typically will think of external possessions and situations to determine how successful they are. For example, a large house, fancy car, high paying job, etc.
While these are markers of success in a reality governed by world systems that create the illusion of separation, true non-egoic success comes from inside of you.
