Embrace each new day with the wonderment of a young child
When this thought came to me, it was a rainy grey day. As I looked at the weather through the window, I thought how easy it can be as an adult to look at that and say, “ugh, so much for going outside”, but through the eyes of a child, a rainy day is full of possibilities and fun.
From jumping in puddles, to watching worms make their way from one garden to another, to twirling umbrellas and feeling drops from the sky land on upturned faces.
Children know how to embrace each day with wonderment. We can embrace our inner-child and embrace it too.
