Don’t get so focused on capturing the moment that you miss it.

Quote - “Don’t get so focused on capturing the moment that you miss it.” – Lisa Layden

Have you ever found yourself spending more time capturing a moment with your camera or video recorder only to find out later that you don’t really feel like you were there?

Perhaps you remember bits and pieces of it or you will look at the picture/video and remember that particular moment, but there’s something different about it; it doesn’t feel the same?

This can happen when you become so focused on capturing the moment with your device that you actually miss being in the moment.

I’ve experienced this too and now find I spend much less time looking through the lens of my camera/recorder and more time enjoying being ‘in’ the moment.
