Do you WANT something? Be prepared for a long wait.
Do you want something and no matter how much you want it, it continues to elude you?
Do you want to know why you aren’t getting it?
You are not getting it because you are focused on wanting rather than having.
As long as you are focused on wanting something, you will never have that something. You will continue to experience want. Want pushes what you desire away from you not to you.
Why?
Wanting something implies lack. By having wanting thoughts, you are asking to experience the lack of that something.
Remember, thoughts are energy just like everything else, and with the Universal Law of Attraction, the Universe will always give you what you ask for. In this case, what you are asking for is want.
In order to get what you want, you need to change the want thought to an empowered thought of already having what you want. The thought of abundance.
One way to do this is to simply remove want from your thoughts, your words, your actions, etc. For example, instead of saying “I want a great life”, say “I have a great life”. Can you see the difference? By dropping the word want from your sentence you are changing the energy of your thought from one of lack to one of abundance.
Now the key to all of this is to BELIEVE your thought.
If you are just giving the thought lip service, but you don’t believe it, you are still in a lack mindset and will not have the something. If you think or say the words but your actions go against what you are saying, you are telling the Universe two different things and as such you will continue to experience the lack. Your predominant thought will win out every time. You need to believe what you desire is possible. You need to believe in the power of intention and you need to believe you have what you desire now even if you can’t see it right now. If you don’t, you are still living in a lack mindset and until you change your lack mindset to one of abundance, you will continue to experience the lack.
So focus your thoughts on abundance, not on lack. Change your thoughts on that doable want from “I want” to “I have”, “I am”, “I give thanks”, etc. From there make sure all thoughts, actions, etc. you carry out related to that doable desire are aligned with having and not wanting and you BELIEVE it’s doable. This approach tells the Universe and yourself that you already have what you are you’re asking for; your desire is not something that’s way out there and you’ll never get it. You believe it is true.
You’ll be surprised by what you receive.
Note: If you need to take baby steps to believe you can have what you desire, start with a small desire that you believe is attainable using the steps above and see what happens.
