You are no more separate from everything than the cells of your body are separate from you.
In this moment, you are experiencing what is called ‘reality’ primarily through and with your 5 basic senses.
Through these senses, you perceive others, other life forms, trees, rocks, water, air, things, planet earth, the universe, etc as being separate from you and from each other.
This is an illusion.
At the subatomic level, the illusion of separateness disappears.
Everything is energy and everything is connected.
Why does this matter?
Because once we as a species understand that everything is connected and separation is an illusion, we will realize that what we do to another person, place, life form, etc., we ultimately do to ourselves.
We will realize that every expression of love is an expression of love to you as well.
We will realize that every expression of hate is an expression of hate you do to yourself.
We will see the ignorance of our ways, and transform our world and the world systems to embrace this understanding.
We will develop a new world order that respects every living thing (yes even what appears to not be alive — like a rock).
We will no longer believe we ‘need’ war, inequality, etc.
