What are you rushing for?

Group of pedestrians from above.

Are you spending the majority of your day rushing from here to there? Getting this done and that done? Getting stressed because you have things to do on your to-do list that are outstanding?

What exactly are you rushing for?

When we believe that we have to rush, we are wrapped up in the ego’s illusion of self-importance, in the illusion of reality and the fear (the illusion) of death.

We are operating from the position of the ego and not the inner-self; the whole self.

For the whole self; the inner-self knows that there is no need to rush. The inner-self sees past the illusion of reality and knows that all time is ‘now’, that death is not an end but a continuation of the ‘self’.

When you find yourself getting caught up in the need to rush and feeling stressed over a too big to-do list, know that that is your ego caught up in its own self-importance and its belief in the illusion.

Stop for a moment, take a breath and if it is safe to do so close your eyes and reconnect with that inner-self that is you.

As you reconnect with your inner-self more and more, you will begin to see the illusions for what they are. You will begin to let go of the belief in the necessity to rush. You will begin to operate from the inner-self rather than the ego-self.
