Resistance is Futile – or is it

Group of men in a row dressed the same as if resistance is futile.

“Resistance is futile.”

If you are a fan of the Star Trek series, you will recognize these words.

They are the words spoken by an alien species called “The Borg” when they are about to assimilate another species into the collective of The Borg.

Once assimilated, the knowledge of the species becomes part of the Borg Collective Intelligence and the species that was assimilated no longer remembers who they are or what made each individual unique. They are now drones that are part of “The Borg Collective” who go on to assimilate further species.

Sounds nasty, eh!

From our human perspective, The Borg are not only nasty, but they are also like cancer to humans and to any other life form in the Universe.

However, in the eyes of the Borg, assimilating other species has become part of their evolution and makes perfect sense for them.

Why?

The more they learn and the more species they convert into drones to support the Collective, the more all-knowing and powerful the Borg becomes. Unfortunately, this approach is self-serving, only serves to destroy other life for the benefit of one species and in the end, would actually end up limiting and self-destructive.

The good news is that our heroes on Star Trek defeat the Borg in the end. The captain and his team use the Borg’s quest for all knowledge and power against them. In the end, it is the Borg’s thirst for power that becomes its ultimate weakness.

Captain Picard and his team showed that resistance is NOT futile! What at first can appear to be all consuming and life-destroying can indeed be eradicated.

So what does this story of The Borg have to do with you?

Well, just as The Borg is a “Collective” that roams the Universe with the purpose of assimilating other species, you have a “Collective” of lack beliefs and mindsets that roam in your subconscious mind that have over the years caused you to forget who you truly are.

The individuality and essence of who you are (your inner-self) has been replaced by a drone of sorts who goes through life based on the direction of the lack-based beliefs and mindsets collective.

When you are unconscious to this, you end up living a life that is not in alignment with who you truly are; a life that is based on fear, lack, and separation.

The good news is that just like Borg, your beliefs and mindsets have a weakness that once unearthed renders them powerless.

Just as the Borg was created by the imagination of the people who created the Star Trek series, you created the lack beliefs and mindsets you have based on the teachings (beliefs of others), observations and experiences you have acquired as you go through life.

Yes, YOU made them up and just like Borg relies on assimilating knowledge to gain power, your lack-based beliefs and mindsets rely on you believing they are real to have power.

As soon as you wake up to the fact they are not real, they lose all power over you.

The problem is that most people don’t know they have these lack-based beliefs and mindsets because they have been a part of their life for such a long time.

Typically it takes a life-changing event for people to wake up and start to question what is going on. They get cancer, lose their job, a loved one dies, etc. But thankfully you don’t have to wait for something drastic to happen in your life to wake up to the illusion of lack-based beliefs and mindsets.

You can now begin to see the lack-based beliefs and mindsets for the illusion they are and how powerless they are once you identify them, let them go and replace them with new abundant facts.

Just like Captain Picard and his team, YOU have the choice. You can stand up and say that resistance is NOT futile and you can defeat the Borg….ur I meant the lack beliefs and mindsets.

‘Til next time if you liked this, please social share it. Together we can help create a global mind shift.
